TiPPs Corner:  A Nurse Practitioner's Blog

"I am a nurse!"  The statement is reminiscent of the original "Mummy" movie. I can picture the scene when Rachel Weisz stands up and proudly states, "I am a librarian!"  I have always felt this way about nursing:  Proud and honored to be a part of the profession. I work as a Family Nurse Practitioner, but I plan on pursuing my doctorate and possibly educating new Nurse Practitioners. It is rewarding to share my knowledge and experience with others and hopefully help them not just succeed but excel in the nursing profession.
